After 32 years hanging out with pint-sized knee-huggers as a public school teacher in Portland, Oregon, it was time to relinquish my red teacher’s pen and hit the road for high adventure and through this blog be of service to adults for once. Here you can find reviews on travel products, services, and experiences to help you cut through the eternal blizzard of online information. After teaching every grade kindergarten through 12, I’ve heard it all and seen it all. You can count on me to tell it like it is, which with any luck might even be entertaining. These reviews are designed with the senior in mind–people who are retired, or want to be retired, or who could be retired, or who hope to be retired, someday. This blog is for you. I hope you find it useful!
When I’m not writing reviews or eating dark chocolate, I’m the founding director at Jester Educational Theater where I write and produce musicals that tour in grade schools. And if you prefer your entertainment to come in 3 to 5-second chunks, you can check out my cartoons at CartoonStock.com.
